New Strategies, New Focus for Our Work
In April 2009, Ford Foundation President Luis Ubiñas released a video message describing the yearlong process we undertook to focus our work and ensure our grant making was addressing the challenges of the next generation. He emphasized the importance of our mission and values and our commitment to social justice: "Our aim in this time of reflection was to produce strategies that would guide us into the future while building on our proud history of work on the frontlines of social change. The outcomes are powerful."
